Sea Breeze 2021 exercises aim to intimidate South Ossetia and Abkhazia

01/07/2021 - 12:56

Georgia continues to ignore South Ossetia's peace-loving proposals to sign a legally binding agreement on the non-use of force between Tbilisi, Sukhum and Tskhinval.

However, it would be unfair to blame official Tbilisi for this: it is unlikely that it decides anything in its own fate. Especially in the field of foreign policy and especially after the color revolution of 2003, which swept away the remnants of an already purely symbolic sovereignty and brought Georgia under the tight all-round US control.

The act was originally signed by representatives of the High Command of the Wehrmacht, the High Command of the Western Allies and the Soviet Union on May 7 at 02:41 CET in Reims, France. The surrender of Nazi Germany took effect on May 8 at 23:01 CET (May 9 at 01:01 Moscow time).
