The OSCE expert spoke about the search for the missing citizens of South Ossetia

The Presidential Envoy of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement, Murat Dzhioev, held a meeting with an independent expert Dusan Ignatovich, at the invitation of the OSCE engaged in the search for citizens of South Ossetia, listed as missing after August 2008.
According to the press service of the Presidential Envoy`s office, "during the conversation Mr. Ignatovich informed about his work on clarifying the fate of the missing. Murat Dzhioev thanked him for his efforts and expressed the hope that the recommendations contained in his two previous reports on the fate of the young people abducted in October 2008 from the territory of South Ossetia and were missing on the territory of Georgia would be implemented by the relevant Georgian authorities.
It was again stressed that the issue of clarifying the fate of the missing citizens was one of the priorities for the leadership of the Republic of South Ossetia and it guarantees a large monetary reward for information about their whereabouts.
On the same day, Mr. Ignatovich had a conversation with relatives of the persons listed to be missing.
The meeting was attended by the Presidential Ombudsman for Human Rights of the RSO Inal Tasoev.
