South Ossetian Foreign Minister has invited the YIEF foreign guests to observe parliamentary elections

Foreign Minister of South Ossetia, Dmitry Medoev, speaking at the Yalta International Economic Forum, invited representatives of the foreign countries to come as observers to parliamentary elections in the Republic.

"I want to appeal to each of you. South Ossetia is ready to develop relations at all levels with all interested countries. We are open for interstate relations. We will have parliamentary elections in the Republic of South Ossetia on June 9. I invite everyone to participate as observers", - said Medoev.

Medoev also awarded a medal for his contribution to the international cooperation of the permanent representative of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov.

Elections of deputies to the Parliament of South Ossetia are scheduled for June 9, and political parties and self-nominated candidates will take part in them. Earlier, the South Ossetian CEC announced the list of parties eligible to participate in the elections. These are the four parliamentary parties "United Ossetia", "Unity of the People", " People's Party" and "Nykhas", as well as five non-parliamentary ones: the Communist Party, "Unity", "Fydybasta", "New Ossetia" and "Motherland". However, later the party "New Ossetia" at the congress announced the self-destruction and the entry of its members in "Nykhas ".

The Yalta International Economic Forum is an annual business event in the economic sphere held in Crimea. In 2019, the forum is being held from April 18 to April 20. The organizers expect more than 3 thousand participants from about 100 countries of the world.
