An essay contest arranged by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on the theme "The truth of a man is - what makes him a man," was completed in South Ossetia. The contest was held among the students of educational institutions of the Republic. As reported to IA "Res" by a spokesperson of the ICRC mission in South Ossetia Marina Tedety, the goal of the competition – is selection of the participants in the Summer School on International Humanitarian Law (IHL).

At today's meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on socio-economic cooperation between South Ossetia and Russia was approved the list of facilities to be restored, which are the basis of the Investment Program for socio-economic development of the Republic.
This was declared by President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov at a briefing in Tskhinval after the plenary session of the IGC.

To establish a streamlined, up-to-date system of planning and accounting for using the funds allocated from the Russian budget for South Ossetia, is the most important question to date. South Ossetia is expecting much from the current, seventh session of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on socio-economic cooperation between South Ossetia and Russia. This was stated by the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov during the seventh meeting of the IGC, being held in Tskhinval.
"People of South Ossetia put great hopes on the IGC and attach more importance to this meeting," - said the head of state.

Russian delegation led by Vice-Premier - Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, co-chairman of the Russian party of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on socio-economic cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia Alexander Khloponin has arrived in South Ossetia to take part in the seventh plenary session of the Intergovernmental Commission to be held today in Tskhinval.

South Ossetia will be visited by the Russian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian Federation to the North Caucasus Federal District, co-chairman of the Russian part of the Intergovernmental Committee Alexander Khloponin.

Water was coming there from the water intake located in Tskhinval, and then was passing through the territory of Georgia, but for some reason was not reaching Tsinagar area of South Ossetia, "- said Gagloyty.
