In connection with the celebration of Independence Day of the Republic of Nicaragua, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia sent a congratulatory telegram to the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Nicaragua
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua and has the honor to send sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Independence Day.
This day in the history of the Republic of Nicaragua is undoubtedly a landmark event. The victory of the Nicaraguan people in the liberation struggle in 1821 became a symbol of the aspirations of Nicaragua towards freedom and independence.
Today Nicaragua is a member of the international community and the state strives to do everything possible to ensure a dignified standard of living and security of its citizens. Thanks to a dynamic ongoing domestic and foreign policy with a combination of deep national traditions and culture, Nicaragua successfully implements initiatives within the regional and international organizations.
South Ossetia hopes for a full, equal cooperation, for positive dynamics in the development of relations between our countries and is determined to improve interaction and cooperation with the Republic of Nicaragua for the benefit of our countries and peoples.
