Athlete from South Ossetia will hold the MMA bout in the U.S.

Ossetian mixed martial arts fighter Alan Gigolaev plans to fight the next bout on April 12 in the United States. According to the athlete, it will be his first MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) professional fight.
"The fight will be held in Atlanta (Georgia, USA within the framework of NFC (National Fighting Championship. Ed.) We will consider the proposals of several managers on the fight with their wards and will soon choose my rival.

The trainings are conducted in accordance with a developed plan of preparation for the battle; they are focused on improving the shock and wrestling techniques, as well as the development of physical qualities, "- said the athlete.
Since 2007 Alan Gigolaev has been living and training in Atlanta (Georgia, USA). The athlete is 23 years old. To date, Gigolaev held seven mixed martial arts fights (amateur rules) in the United States and won all of them. In four of them he scored a victory by choke holds, and three – by the decision of referees. Gigolaev is a holder a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. In 2008 and 2009 he became the champion of the state of Georgia in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.
