Minister of National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information of Chechnya Akhmed Dudayev and Chairman of the Information and Press Committee of South Ossetia Maria Kotaeva discussed cooperation in the information sphere. This was reported by the presidential press service.

On Saturday, a delegation from Chechnya arrived in Tskhinval and, on behalf of the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, donated ten UAZ-Patriot cars to the Republic. Financial assistance was also provided from the Regional Public Fund named after the Hero of Russia Akhmat-Hadzhi Kadyrov to equip the law enforcement officers with full sets of service uniforms.
The meeting was held with the participation of President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev and the head of the Presidential Executive Office Alan Margiev.

According to Akhmed Dudayev, many foreign media are purposefully making efforts to create a negative, toxic background around the Chechen Republic.

“This has developed in us a kind of immunity to counter these informational conclusions. Here, the key factor that allows us to effectively resist such sabotage is the role, participation and assistance directly from the Head of the Republic Ramzan Kadyrov. He helps us on a daily basis in resolving all issues. He himself is the honorary President of our state TV channel, a mobile reporter for the TV channel. All these aspects, one way or another, influence the role and authority of the information sphere in the republic,” he said.
The Minister noted that “Ramzan Kadyrov himself films video content for us, regularly meets with information specialists, and all this helps them implement information policy in the republic.”
He noted that there is a lot of developments in this direction, there is experience and practice that the Chechen media are ready to share with their South Ossetian colleagues. Akhmed Dudayev said that in many aspects of information policy, the Chechen Republic was among the leaders of the Russian Federation, including information support for national projects in Russia, as well as in the number of readers on information resources.

“Circumstances forced us to constantly develop, learn, and constantly exchange experiences with other regions. We understand that the main struggle for the minds of the younger generation, and indeed the entire population, and the formation of public opinion is taking place today on the information policy platforms. This is a very important part of any war, one might say. We see what aggressive provocations are taking place in the information sphere. And we are happy to join in the work with colleagues and show everything we know,” the Minister said.

He has emphasized that the Head of Chechnya is regularly interested in how interaction has been established with colleagues from South Ossetia.
