Minister of Internal Affairs Alan Guchmazov has received the head of the medical and sanitary unit of Ministry of Internal Affairs, police lieutenant colonel Georgiy Margiev, who came home to South Ossetia from the special military operation zone on a short leave.

According to the department's press service, during the meeting Georgy Margiev spoke about the situation at the front, the successes of the Ossetian fighters and his participation in the special military operation.

Georgy is a surgeon by profession; he has noted that his colleagues in Tskhinval do a good job, but he is more needed at the special military operation.

"In the war, the more doctors the better - there will be more lives saved. Therefore, I felt it my duty to be close to our guys. It is my duty as a doctor, a man and a patriot to take the wounded man out of the battlefield, help him and return him to the ranks," Margiev said.

The Minister thanked Margiev for his civic position and his desire to help wounded soldiers on the battlefield. Alan Guchmazov wished him health, good luck, strength and a speedy return home.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Georgiy Margiev has been serving in the internal affairs bodies since 2010. Last November, he went to the special military operation zone, where he was appointed head of the medical service of the Alania battalion.

In a few days, Georgy will return to the front line and continue his service for the good of the Motherland.
