People of South Ossetia, where 97% of voters voted for Vladimir Putin's candidacy, associate confidence in their reliable future with his victory. This is stated in the congratulation of the leader of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev to Vladimir Putin on his official assumption of office as President of the Russian Federation.
Gagloev has noted that the results of the 2024 elections show impressive support, which is backed by recognition of Putin’s services to the country and the people’s faith in his leadership.
“Consolidation of society, ensuring growth and stress resistance of the economy, promoting international positions and impressive increase in the country’s authority in the world - all this has been achieved over the years of your activity at the head of the Russian state,” the head of state noted in his congratulatory address.
The leader of the Republic of South Ossetia expressed confidence that with the leadership participation of Putin, comprehensive interaction and cooperation between the two states will continue its progressive development.
