The President of the Republic of South Ossetia met with the residents of villages of Artsev and Dmenis of Tskhinvali region at the instance of the residents. The meeting was attended Mr. Boris Chochiev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of RSO.
The participants had an open conversation about the problems that are facing the residents of those villages.
According to the villagers, they are all the time disturbed by armed people in military uniform and are threaten to expel the villagers from their houses. Aggressively incited residents of the nearby Georgian villages, instigated by the Administration of Gori region, depasture their cattle in their cemeteries and gardens.
The representatives of those villages also stated that as a result of road blockage by the Georgian side, they do not get enough food and stuff.
After listening to the participants Mr. Eduard Kokoity assured that everything will be done to ensure safety and provide all necessary supplies to the residents of those villages.
