The South Ossetian State University and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Abkhazia signed a memorandum of cooperation, the University's press service told IA "Res ".
"At the invitation of the Chairperson of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Abkhazia Diana Pilia, Rector of our University Vadim Tedeev visited the country to participate in the festive events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution.
As part of the signed memorandum, students of our university have the opportunity to undergo the internship within the walls of the Constitutional Court of Abkhazia," the press service has noted.
At the South Ossetian State University, students majoring in "jurisprudence" take the discipline "constitutional law".
"Teachers of the "constitutional law" discipline will also have the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the Constitutional Court of Abkhazia and at the same time exchange experiences with judges," the press service has emphasized.
The Chairperson of the Constitutional Court of Abkhazia read out the order on awarding Rector of the South Ossetian State University Vadim Tedeev with a jubilee medal in honor of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Abkhazia.
"As part of the festive events, a cooperation agreement was signed between the South Ossetian State University and the Institute of Economics and Law of the Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia.
The document was signed by Vadim Tedeev and Fatima Kamkia," the agency's interlocutor continued.
During the official events, Vadim Tedeev held meetings with one of the founders of the current Law on the Police of the Russian Federation, rector of the Siberian Law University Yuri Solovey, as well as with director of the Law Institute of the Pyatigorsk State University Lyudmila Tkhabisimova.
"During his trip to Abkhazia, Vadim Tedeev visited the Abkhaz State University, where he and Rector Aleko Gvaramia discussed further cooperation between the two universities.
At the request of Aleko Gvaramia, Vadim Tedeev took part in the meeting between the famous Abkhaz boxer, the world champion Khariton Agrba, and a group of students and teachers of the University," the press service has shared.
As part of the visit to the country to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitutional Court of Abkhazia, the participants laid flowers at the Memorial to those killed during the Patriotic War of Abkhazia in the Sukhum Park of Glory.
