The delegation of Parliament of South Ossetia headed by Speaker Alan Margiev is taking part in the annual inter-faction conference "The Role of Interaction of Factions of Political Parties and Blocs in Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the CIS Countries". This was reported by the press service of the Legislative Body of the Republic.
The delegation has also included First Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation, Legality and Local Self-Government Zita Besaeva, Vice-Speaker of Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education and Science Taimuraz Tadtaev, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Zaza Driaev, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare Alexander Pliev and Member of the Parliament of South Ossetia Atsamaz Bibilov.
Representatives of ten foreign parliaments will discuss inter-faction cooperation at the conference in Moscow at the platform of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
The conference of political factions of foreign parliaments will be attended by 32 representatives of 28 parliamentary parties from 10 countries.
The inter-faction conference is held annually and gathers the increasing number of participants.
The work within the framework of the conference will last from November 25 to 27.
A bilateral meeting between the Chairman of Parliament of South Ossetia Alan Margiev and Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin is also planned.
