The South Ossetian company for the extraction and processing of natural stone "Impulse-A" plans to use innovative technologies in its work, studied at one of the largest international exhibitions of the stone industry Xiamen Stone Fair 2025 in China.
This was announced at the press conference in Tskhinval by the general director of the LLC "Impulse-A" Elbrus Kochiev.
"We were especially interested in manufacturers of machines using a diamond thread with a thickness of 0.43 millimeters. For comparison, we currently use a rope with a thickness of 8.8 millimeters. This technology allows us to significantly reduce the consumption of stone during cutting and reduce energy consumption," Kochiev has noted.
As part of the trip to China, the participants of the exhibition visited a plant in the city of Shantou, where the technology of cutting stone with a diamond thread is already successfully used. This gave them the opportunity to clearly see how it works.
According to Kochiev, they also got acquainted with a new unique method of processing stone under high water pressure, which allows creating surfaces with unusual textures.
"We are already planning to implement these innovative technologies in the work of our enterprise in the near future," Kochiev has assured.
He has emphasized that the scale of the exhibition was very large: more than two thousand companies from 50 countries of the world took part in it.
"The latest equipment for stone processing, mining equipment, unique stone products, loading machines and much more were presented at the exhibition," he has noted.
Kochiev also added that the South Ossetian stone processing enterprise LLC Impuls-A took part in the exhibition at the invitation of partners from Russia, the company LLC Vse dlya Kamna.
