On Wednesday, the South Ossetian authorities expelled the Georgian citizen from the Republic who had violated the state border, the KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.
According to the Committee, the Georgian citizen Asoshvili Gocha, born in 1997, a resident of the village of Alekseevka, Tetritskaro municipality, was detained by the South Ossetian border authorities on April 5.

As noted by the department, the meeting of diplomats took place within the framework of interaction between South Ossetia and the Permanent Committee of the Union State.
Republic of South Ossetia is “not a breakaway region of Georgia and a territory not subject to the jurisdiction of Russia,” but the independent legal state formed by the will of the people in accordance with all principles and norms of international law Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia noted, commenting on the decision of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
“We drew attention to the decision of the ECHR on the claim of Georgia, which refers to alleged violations of human rights in South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

"Based on the political realities, the events that are taking place in the world today, the unprecedented pressure that Russia is under from the collective West, it was difficult to count on any other outcome," Tasoev said.
