The main fight of the evening, geographically beyond the scope of the Russia-China meeting, was a heavyweight duel in the category of over 91 kg between Tair Kelekhsaev (Tskhinval, South Ossetia) and Georgian Tamaz Zadishvili.

The Russia-China boxing match took place on Thursday in Vladikavkaz. As part of the tournament, 11 fights were held in the format of three rounds of three minutes and one 6-round fight. This is not the first time that Chinese boxers have come to Ossetia, where they successfully train with the famous coach Vitaly Slanov, reports "15-Region".

In the first two matches, Russians Kristina Abdulaeva and Anastasia Luchkina lost to their Chinese rivals. Then the inhabitant of Vladikavkaz Yan Khokhoev in a dynamic and spectacular fight defeated the Chinese boxer by unanimous decision.

In a duel between Robert Gutiev and Mo Hong Song, the referee recorded a fighting draw. Unfortunately, two more Russians Anastasia Markova and Gulnara Karimzhanova lost to their Chinese opponents.

Two fights with the Chinese were held by boxers from the Donetsk People’s Republic. Igor Grigorashchuk from Donetsk defeated Chang Yong by a separate decision of the referees, and Shandur Ivanenko from Makeevka unanimously lost to Hu Dziunjun. In the 9th match of the evening, Azamat Kodzaev from Vladikavkaz lost to Liu Ping.

The next match was held according to the script of the Vladikavkaz inhabitant Oleg Gurtsiev. Already in the 1st round, he knocked Liao Wendzia, and soon the referee stopped the fight and awarded the victory to Gurtsiev because of the Chinese disqualification due to his constant violation of the battle. The fastest match was held at a weight of 60 kg, where Aslan Kabisov from Vladikavkaz was first knocked down by Xiao Langhai, and after that in the first round knocked out his opponent on the flooring of the ring and won an early victory.

The awarding was made by President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov and Deputy Prime Minister of North Ossetia Ruslanbek Ikaev. In general, the Chinese boxers won five fights (except for the DNR athletes), the Russians won three, and the boxing evening was exciting for the fans.
