Students of the South-Ossetian state University took part in the Russian-Polish seminar

Students of the South-Ossetian State University took part in the III meeting of the Russian-Polish seminar on the subject "The young people today and the civil society", which was being held in Poland November 22 - 25.
As one of the participants of the seminar Magda Tibilova said "Res", the workshop had been organized by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Warsaw with the participation of LLC "Sotsioglobus" and the Coordinating Council of the of the RF Federation Council Chairman of the Federal Assembly on cooperation with civil society.

Dmitry Medvedev: Russia is ready for a dialogue with Georgia, but in consideration of the recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has said that Russia is ready for a dialogue with the new leadership of Georgia, but in consideration of the current geopolitical realities and the decisions on recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, adopted by Russia.
"I once said that the only person, with whom I was not ready to sit at the same table, was Mikhail Saakashvili. He started the war; he committed a crime-first of all, against the Georgian people. He is also guilty of the death of the other countries` citizens. The current Prime Minister – is a representative of another generation of politicians, let`s wait for his real actions, "- Medvedev said in an interview to the newspaper "Kommersant ".

Dmitry Medoev is awarded an Order of Saint George the Great Martyr

By the decree of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Primate, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, for services to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation Dmitry Medoev has been decorated with an Order of Saint George the Great Martyr.

Alexander Khloponin: the Interdepartmental Commission is facing the challenges

Moscow has hosted the sixth session of the Interdepartmental Commission for socio-economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia, co-chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia Rostislav Khugaev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District Alexander Khloponin.

The issues of socio-economic cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia will be discussed at the meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee

Today in Moscow will begin the 6th plenary session of the Intergovernmental Committee for Socio-Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia.
The meeting will be opened by a head of the Russian part of the Intergovernmental Committee, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian federation - Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District Alexander Khloponin. The South Ossetian delegation is headed by the Chairman of the Government Rostik Khugaev.

Prospects of joining the Eurasian Union by South Ossetia have been discussed at the round table in Tskhinval

A round table discussion on the topic "Eurasian Union - a new stage of integration" has recently been held in the capital of South Ossetia.
The organizer of the event - the South Ossetian branch of the Development Fund "Institute of Eurasian Studies", - invited to the discussion the South Ossetian and Russian experts, the public and political figures of the Republic.
As noted during the roundtable by the Chairman of the Ossetian branch of the Development Fund of the "Institute of Eurasian Studies", Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of South Ossetia Zurab Kokoev, Eurasian Union, by analogy with the European Union, is to become a common economic space without any migration and border barriers.

Criminal proceedings upon the missing people of South Ossetia have started in Georgia.
As reported to media by Deputy Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Khokh Gagloyty after the meeting, held today within the framework of Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents (MPRI) in the Georgian village of Ergneti at the border of South Ossetia, "we reiterated at the meetings if Georgia had brought criminal proceedings upon the missing citizens of South Ossetia, considering that there were enough material to start the investigation. Today, the Georgian party finally informed us that a criminal case is in the process of legal procedure", - said Gagloyty.
