The Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement, Murat Dzhioev, and the head of the South Ossetian office of the International Committee of the Red Cross Ashot Astabatsyan at a meeting in Tskhinval agreed to activate the work of the tripartite mechanism to search for the missing persons.

According to the office of the Plenipotentiary, the next meeting of the tripartite mechanism is scheduled for mid-November.

Presidium of the Congress of Self-Determination of Peoples,held in Verona with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the RSO Dmitry Medoev, adopted an appeal in support of South Ossetia.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, the appeal was made following the speech of Medoev.
