The youth conference of compatriots became a platform for exchanging experience and discussing current issues related to the consolidation of the Russian-speaking youth in the CIS countries.
A representative of South Ossetia, member of the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots (KSORS) and the organization "Rossy" Alexander Arsoev told IA "Res" about this, commenting on the results of participation in the Regional Youth Conference of Russian Compatriots of Neighboring Countries "Creating the Future Together: Youth Initiatives in the CIS" in Bishkek.
"The impressions are wonderful; I talked to colleagues who have extensive experience in holding events. Useful lectures by experts on how to present projects, what risks to take into account, helped to gain new knowledge and skills," Arsoev said.
He noted the importance of such events for strengthening ties between Russian compatriots and developing youth cooperation in the CIS countries.
The conference program included a number of panel discussions on protecting the rights of compatriots, promoting the Russian language and culture, and preserving the historical memory of the Great Victory.
The participants discussed new challenges facing compatriot organizations in the changing geopolitical environment and shared effective practices for working with young people.
Particular attention was paid to the development of youth initiatives and projects in the CIS countries. Master classes on risk management in organizing events and effective project presentations were organized for the participants.
The conference ended with the adoption of the final resolution, the laying of flowers at the Eternal Flame on Victory Square, and a tour for the participants.
