The State Security Committee of South Ossetia continues the operational and investigative measures to suppress illegal activities in the healthcare sector.

"On February 19, KGB officers carried out another seizure of financial and reporting documentation at the RMMC of the Republic of South Ossetia, concerning the current repair of medical equipment," the press service of the Committee reports.

Based on the results of the analysis of the seized materials, appropriate procedural decisions will be made, the department has added.

At the briefing in Tskhinval, South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev explained the new rules for crossing the Russian border for foreigners, which will come into force on June 30 of this year.

Dzhioev reminded that, on the instructions of President Alan Gagloev, the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry sent the official note to the Russian Foreign Ministry with a request to exclude the Republic from the list of countries subject to this resolution.

Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov presented jubilee medals "80 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" to three veterans - home front workers, the press service of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of South Ossetia reports.
