In connection with the statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia about the so-called attempt of carrying out the act of terrorism against the NATO representation in Tbilisi by a certain Badri Gogiashvili in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia and the Russian frontier troops deployed in the Republic, the head of the press-service of the President and the government of South Ossetia Vyacheslav Sedov has declared the IA "Res" that the information spread by Tbilisi is nothing more, than cheap provocation.

South-Ossetian journalists have returned from a trip to Israel. As the head of the delegation - an editor-in-chief of the public-political newspaper "South Ossetia" Zalina Tskhovrebova- has informed the correspondent of the IA "Res", it was a familiarization trip for establishing contacts with the Israeli colleagues. «During the trip we have met with the journalists and heads of Russian-language editions of Israel. We have arranged about working out the joint journalistic projects for further interaction and expansion of informational space of South Ossetia», - Tskhovrebova has said. Besides, in Israel the representatives of South Ossetia have met with the Jews who lived in South Ossetia before the Georgian-Ossetian war in 1989-1992 and were compelled to leave their houses because of the inflamed conflict.

The next 16 round of the international discussions on safety in Transcaucasia has started in Geneva. The South-Ossetian delegation is intending to raise a question on development of the legal document about non-use of force by Georgia against South Ossetia. According to the head of the delegation, the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on questions of the post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev, the necessity of working out this document was being discussed by the participants of the debates for a long time, however we have no any progress today.

The political parties representing the interests of any social groups are the necessary elements of the modern democratic society and the rule created by this society. In this respect our Republic has passed the significant way from the domestic policy development: from the one-party system in the USSR to the modern multi-party system. The activity of the Communist party is historically successive: after the collapse of the CPSU the communists of South Ossetia hold a founding-rehabilitative congress and established their own party, then being included in the Union of the communist parties and nowadays closely connected with "the Zyuganov" Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF).

About a forthcoming round of the Geneva discussions on safety and stability in Transcaucasia

On June, 7 in Geneva the sixteenth round of the international discussions on stability and safety in Transcaucasia is planned to be held. Since October, 2008 the representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia, Georgia, the Russian Federation, the United States of America, the Republic of South Ossetia, and also the United Nation, the OSCE and the EU have been participating in the Geneva meetings on an equal basis. The Russian delegation will be headed by the Secretary of State - the Deputy Minister of Foreign affairs of the Russian Federation-G.B.Karasin.

In Genève at the sixteenth round of the international debates on questions of stability and safety in Transcaucasia the South-Ossetian side is intending to continue the work on development the legal document about non-use of force against South Ossetia. This has been reported the IA "Res" by the head of the South-Ossetian delegation, the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on questions of the post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev. According to his words "this question has been being on the agenda for a long time; however, we have no any progress today". "In addition, in the course of the debates the other questions of the humanitarian nature will be discussed. In particular, the issue of gas supply in Leningorskiy region of South Ossetia. Also we are intending to discuss the issues, concerning our citizens listed as missing, as well as the questions of violating the state border of the RSO", - has emphasized Chochiev.

The President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity has taken part in the funeral ceremony of the President of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh, which has passed today in Sukhum. As reported the IA "Res" at the administrations of the President of the RSO, the South-Ossetian delegation has also included the representatives of the government, the parliament and the public community of South Ossetia.

The training for women of South Ossetia has been recently held in Tsejsky gorge of Alagirsky district in the RSO-Alania. The action has been organized by the south-ossetian non-governmental organization «Journalists for human rights». As Irina Janovskaya- the head of this organization- has informed the IA "Res", the inhabitants of South Ossetia-both the Ossetian as well as the Georgian nationality- have taken part in the trainings. «The representatives of the Ossetian, Georgian and the mixed Ossetian-Georgian families which have suffered three confrontations during the last twenty years, have had a possibility to share their problems.

The students of the Tskhinval art college named after Makharbeg Tuganov have won the prizes in the V International contest of young designers "The Pulse of Fashion" in Vladikavkaz. What has reported The teacher of the college Akhsartag Alborov has informed the IA «Res", that the works of five South-Ossetian students were presented at the contest. In the nomination "The decorative landscape" our alumnus - Aldatova Bela and Alexander Efimenko have won the first and the second places. They have been rewarded with diplomas and prizes. The participation in the international contest is a fine stimulus for further creative achievements, and it will inspired for attaining to the next ups", - has told Alborov. As he says, the South-Ossetian students have taken part in the contest due to the Institute of Fashion under the direction of Zarina Khokhaeva. "The jury has comprised the director of our college Zaur Kozaev.

The sixteenth round of the international debates on questions of stability and safety in Transcaucasia is being planned to be held in Geneva from 5 to 8 June. The South-Ossetian delegation will include the leader of the South-Ossetian delegation in Geneva, the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on questions of the post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the RSO, Murat Dzhioev, the State Counsellor of the President of the RSO Konstantin Kochiev, the Representative of the President of the RSO on human rights David Sanakoev, the Deputy Plenipotentiary Merab Chigoev.
