Within the frames of the commemorative events, dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the Georgian aggression against South Ossetia, on August 8, a round table "For Peace in the Caucasus" will be held in the capital of South Ossetia.
As the correspondent of IA "Res" has been informed by the State Councilor of the President of South Ossetia on state and international protocol Jhanna Zasseeva, representatives of all delegations, arriving at the commemorative events in South Ossetia, were invited to take part in the discussion.
"We want to appeal to the international community, which must hear the voice of our people, the cry of mothers. The world must understand that the war was brutal, short and it has claimed so many lives. One should forget nothing. If today someone is tried in the international court, then those who unleashed war against South Ossetia should also undergo punishment", - said Zasseeva.
According to Zasseeva, the same day within the framework of the "Iron Nykhas" in Tskhinval will meet representatives of the Ossetian Diaspora from near andfar abroad.
"We need to revive the institution of communication and understanding of our nation. It should have a place in such major crucial events. "Iron Nykhas" should be heard by everybody- young and even older generations, because it involved the wisest of the wise men, "- said the state advisor.
She thanked all members of the delegations which will take part in the events dedicated to the memory of those killed during the five-day war in August 2008.
"We express our gratitude to all members of our diaspora in Syria, Sweden, France and other countries. We thank all the people who will come to share our pain, who together with us will again go through the events of August 2008, "- she added.
It should be noted that the leadership of the Republic sent official invitations to the State Duma and Federation Council of Russia, to all the North Caucasian republics, as well as to representatives of the Ossetian diaspora around the world to participate in the commemorative events.
