At a meeting of the People’s Council of the DPR on Friday, June 26, parliamentarians unanimously supported the appeal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia to the countries of the world in connection with the 100th anniversary of the Ossetian genocide, DAN reports with reference to the parliamentary department.

The Speaker has stressed that the Donbass understands and shares the grief of the Ossetian fraternal people for the lost compatriots who became victims of the Georgian aggression. The head of the DPR national Assembly also called on the international community to approve and support the right of Ossetians to justice.
“We are convinced that the crimes of Georgia against South Ossetia have no statute of limitations. We urge the international community and international organizations to join this initiative,” concluded Bidevka.
The appeal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia was unanimously supported by 92 deputies present at the plenary meeting.
