Specialists of the Russian Ministry of Defense continue to work to combat coronavirus infection in South Ossetia. Military doctors have already conducted more than 100 PCR tests, the press service of the Southern Military District reports. To carry out the work, the specialists use a modern field laboratory complex.
According to representatives of the military medical service, more than 20 people are currently under the supervision of qualified doctors at the hospital. All citizens who asked for help underwent the necessary medical examination and were tested for the presence of COVID-19.
For the treatment of seriously ill patients, the hospital has the most modern medical equipment at its disposal - artificial lung ventilation devices, monitors for intensive observation of patients, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines and blood analyzers.
Meanwhile, the special treatment detachment of the Ministry of Defense disinfected highways, buildings, structures and internal premises of the city of Tskhinval - more than 110 thousand square meters of surfaces in total.
