Moscow government has allocated targeted subsidies for South Ossetia

The delegation of South Ossetia headed by Ambassador to Russia Znaur Gassiev, on the invitation of the Moscow government, took part in the round table "Interaction with compatriots abroad at the level of regions of the Russian Federation."

"As part of the important event, Minister of the Government of Moscow, the head of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations, Sergei Cheremin, handed over to Znaur Gassiev certificates for educational institutions in South Ossetia for targeted subsidies for the purchase of: fiction and methodological literature in the amount of 500,000 rubles, for office equipment and special high-tech equipment in the amount of 1,200,000 rubles," the press service of the South Ossetian Embassy reports.

Znaur Gassiev thanked Sergey Cheremin for his constant attention to compatriots living in South Ossetia and noted that the Republic attached great importance to strengthening cooperation with the regions of the Russian Federation, in particular, business meetings with the government of the Vladimir Region were held recently.

The round table held in Vladikavkaz was organized, among other things, by the government of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania with the active assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia, since the theme of the event organically correlates with the Russian-South Ossetian integration processes, reflecting the level of bilateral cooperation in all areas.

Participation in the event of the delegation of the Republic contributed to the opportunity for the participants and guests of the conference to get acquainted with the most complete picture of the work carried out by the Russian organizations of compatriots in our Republic.

The subject of the ongoing strategy of the Moscow government to support Russian compatriots living abroad and their organizations in various countries is a wide range of issues, including in the field of culture, tourism, business, media, youth work, education, history, support and preservation Russian language.

Moscow Government Minister Sergei Cheremin, in his welcoming address to the organizers and participants of the event, has noted that supporting the Russian diaspora living abroad, expanding ties with it, protecting the rights and interests of its members, and preserving their all-Russian cultural identity are among the most important national priorities.

The event was also attended by Minister of North Ossetia-Alania for National Policy and External Relations Alan Bagiev, the head of the territorial body - representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Vladikavkaz Alan Khetagurov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea - Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov, Nadezhda Rassokhina, member of the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots in South Ossetia. Representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo, regions of the North Caucasian and Southern federal districts, organizations of Russian compatriots living abroad also took part in the event.
