According to the press service of the Committee on Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism, the winners of the International Tournament from South Ossetia are Soslan Alborov, Alan Dzagoev, Georgy Guchmazov, Marat Bagaev, Dmitry Bagaev and Guram Gagiev.

Five medals were won by the South Ossetian athletes in the qualifying tournament for the VII Joint Martial Arts World Championship, thereby winning trips to the World Championship, which will be held in October in Italy.

The qualifying tournament for the FKSR / ICLAS was held from September 21 to 25 in Anapa as part of the XII open All-Russian Games.

According to the Committee on Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism, the competition brought together more than 700 participants from 37 regions of the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan and South Ossetia.

A boxer from South Ossetia, Soslan Tedeev, won a major international tournament in the city of Guangzhou in China. As part of the tournament, he held two fights in four rounds. From the boxing club "Ariana" three Ossetian boxers participated in the tournament.

The Russia-China boxing match took place on Thursday in Vladikavkaz. As part of the tournament, 11 fights were held in the format of three rounds of three minutes and one 6-round fight. This is not the first time that Chinese boxers have come to Ossetia, where they successfully train with the famous coach Vitaly Slanov, reports "15-Region".

South Ossetian wrestler Arsamag Zasseev won the final bout with the Georgian wrestler Georgiy Chikhradze with a crushing score 10:0, winning the gold medal, and became the winner of the freestyle wrestling world championship among U-18 boys.

Before the competition, Arsamag Zasseev had a two-week training camp in Sochi as part of the Russian youth team. The wrestler performed in a weight up to 110 kilograms.

The first coach of the former world heavyweight champion Murat Gassiev Vitaly Slanov told about the state of health of Murat. It should be reminded, the boxer was forced to abandon the heavyweight debut, scheduled for July 27. The reason was another injury.
