Christmas services will be held in the churches of South Ossetia

Festive services will be held at the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Tskhinval from January 6 to 8, the press service of the Alan Diocese reports.

On January 6, on Christmas Eve, the Royal Hours will be performed at 12.00, Great Compline will begin at 13.00, and Christmas Matins will begin at 22.00, and the Cross procession will take place at midnight, followed by the liturgy," the press service said.

They noted that on Saturday at 17.00 a vigil would take place, and on Sunday at 10.00 a liturgy.

The book “Nart Nameh” was presented in Iran

The presentation of the book "Nart Nameh" took place in Iran. It is reported by IrInform. The translation of the Nart epic into Farsi became possible thanks to the efforts of the translator Musa Abdullahi, the archaeologist Nazim Gijrati, and the philologist Tamerlan Kambolov.
