Festive services will be held at the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Tskhinval from January 6 to 8, the press service of the Alan Diocese reports.

They noted that on Saturday at 17.00 a vigil would take place, and on Sunday at 10.00 a liturgy.
"Confession for those preparing to take Communion at the Christmas Liturgy will be performed in the church during the reading of the Royal Hours and Great Compline on Friday from 12.00 to 14.00," the press service said.
Festive services will also be held in the Church of the Holy Trinity in the capital of the Republic.
