In KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia the information of the georgian mass-media on the ostensibly detention of the south-ossetian spies by the Department of counterespionage of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia they consider as a provocation.
«It is obvious, that the georgian special services have arranged this performance so that to veil their failures in preparation of a series of terrorist acts on the territory of South Ossetia in 2007. We shall remind, that namely the Department of counterespionage of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has recently organized a delivery of two explosives, camouflaged under building waste, to the town of Tskhinval, about what we have already told at our press conference on August, 4th», have been informed the correspondent of the Informational Agency «Res» at the press-service of KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia.
The representative of the press-service of KGB has emphasized, that «judging by the shots of the georgian TV, the persons, accused of espionage, are a man and a woman of deeply old age, they obviously do not look as spies or saboteurs, as the georgian special services declare about it. And it is not clear how the inhabitants of Lagodekh region of Georgia could collect the information on military objects in Gori and on the roundabout road from Eredvi to Kheiti, moreover - to get on the guarded military warehouse».
«Nothing but a next provocation it is impossible to name all that. The actions of the Department of counterespionage of Georgia remind more the attempts to mistake the wish for the reality ", they have especially emphasized in KGB of South Ossetia.
Earlier the georgian mass-media have informed, that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has detained a married couple, suspected of espionage. Already on September, 5 as a result of the operatively-investigatory actions of the department of counterespionage have been detained the citizens of Georgia, the inhabitants of the village of Kabali of Lagodekh region (East Georgia) the husband and wife Valeriy and Tosya Nartkoevy.
