The delegation of the Ministry of Culture of South Ossetia will take part in the third International Festival "Pyatigorsk is lighting the stars," which will be held in Pyatigorsk March 24-25. As IA "Res" has been reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture of South Ossetia, "the delegation will include representatives of the Ministry of Culture of South Ossetia and the South Ossetian singer, the international competitions laureate, Nina Gatikoeva". They noted that the South Ossetian side had received the invitation to the festival from the Stavropol region creative public organization "Word Art Music».
The first All-Russia festival-competition of the young talents "Pyatigorsk is lighting the stars" was held in Pyatigorsk in 2010 - in commemoration of the 230th anniversary of founding of the city. The festival brought together the young talents from North Ossetia - Alania, Stavropol, Krasnodar and Moscow. Since March 2011 the festival-contest "Pyatigorsk is lighting the stars" is the International: it was attended by students from Vietnam, a group of children from the Republic of South Ossetia, Moscow, Krasnodar and Stavropol, Kabardino-Balkaria. The motto of creative social organization - "Peace be with you, the planet Earth!" expresses the principal purpose of the festivals-contest "Word Art Music». The exchange of cultures is taking place through the creative dialogue, companionship of children, youth and people of different nationalities and religions, that promotes living without violence and in an atmosphere of mutual understanding.
