A photo exhibition "People and fates" dedicated to the people of the North Caucasus and South Ossetia will be held In Tskhinval. As IA "Res" has been informed by the Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) spokesperson Marina Tedety,
"the photos that will be presented at the exhibition, were made by the ICRC employee Marco Kokich. Last year he traveled to Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia, North Ossetia-Alania and South Ossetia - said Tedety. – The photos` author has met with the ICRC recipients, the people suffering from the effects of the armed conflict and other situations of violence."
According to the ICRC staff member, the author wants by his pictures to draw attention of the communities to pain and feelings of the people, affected by fighting in the North Caucasus and in South Ossetia and its consequences.
"War does not spare anyone, neither men nor women, nor children, leaving an indelible mark in their lives. That is why the ICRC has been working in the North Caucasus and in South Ossetia in order to assist more vulnerable groups of population."
It should be noted that the exhibition is mobile and it has already taken place in Grozny, Makhachkala and Khasavyurt.
The event will be held in the building of the Republican Library named after Anakharsis, from April 23-30, 2012.
