The well-known Ossetian professional boxer, the WBC European champion in the weight class up to 66.6 kg, the WBC youth world champion, the intercontinental WBC youth world champion, a champion of Asia among adults Aslanbek Kozaev will hold his next match September 27, 2012 in the capital of Belgium - Brussels. "Our athlete will meet with the Belgian boxer Sasha Vaganyan. Kozaev`s opponent is 26 years old. Vaganyan is an experienced fighter who has a knockout blow. In professional boxing he fought 22 boats and won a victory in all of them. 14 bouts he closed out by knockout, "- said Slanov.
According to him, currently Vaganyan is in the top ten professional boxers in his weight class.
"In the upcoming battle Kozaev will be defending his WBC European champion belt in the weight class up to 66.6 kilograms" - continued the coach.
He also added that Kozaev is training for the boxing match in Vladikavkaz.
"At this stage of the training we focus on improvement of the technical and tactical skills. And soon we will go to Moscow, where the emphasis in training will be made on the sparring. Kozaev will be working with the specially selected sparring partners, the manner of fighting and physicality of whom are similar to the manner of Vaganyan`s fight, "- said the coach.
It should be noted that to date Kozaev fought in professional boxing victoriously 21bouts.
