The Delegation of South Ossetia headed by Deputy Prime Minister Guram Melkoev, will participate in the celebrations of the Day of the recognition of the independence of Abkhazia by the Russian Federation. The delegation will also include the rector of the South Ossetian State University Vadim Tedeev and Member of Parliament of South Ossetia Sergei Lipin.
" People of South Ossetia cherish the traditions of friendship between our nations, based on the principles of mutual understanding and trust. August 26 is a general holiday for the two nations with a similar history. As usual, on this day the representatives of South Ossetia will visit Abkhazia, in turn, the Abkhaz delegation will arrive in Tskhinval to participate in the celebrations, "- said Melkoev.
