Representatives of the Ministry of Justice of South Ossetia are taking part in the XI St. Petersburg International Legal Forum. The delegation is headed by the head of the department Oleg Gagloev, who arrived at the forum at the invitation of the Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Konstantin Chuichenko, the press service of the South Ossetian Ministry of Justice reports.
The event started on May 11 at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg.
“On the sidelines of the forum, topical issues of improving law enforcement practice, promoting legislative initiatives in order to develop a legal culture and regulate the socio-economic sphere in modern conditions will be discussed,” the statement of the press service reads.
The South Ossetian delegation has also included Deputy Minister of Justice Nina Tskhovrebova, Head of the Bailiff Service Vadim Dzhagaev, Head of the State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography Service of the Ministry of Justice Alena Kochieva, Head of the Department of Legislation of the Ministry of Justice Zarina Vaneeva.
In 2023, the authoritative international legal ground brought together 20 ministers of justice, as well as heads of supreme authorities from 34 states, which will have the opportunity, as part of the forum’s extensive business program, which includes more than 110 events, to exchange views on key issues of modern law.
The SPBILF-2023 is being held under the motto "Sovereignty in Law" and includes six thematic blocks in its program: "Sovereign Law in a Changing World", "Business and Investments in the Reality of Sanctions", "Effective Law to the Effective State", "Digitalization: the Law of the Future" or the future of law”, “Justice and dispute resolution: new realities and horizons”, “Law and society”.
