Representatives of the VTB Bank visited the national exposition of South Ossetia at the international food exhibition Prodexpo-2025.
As reported to IA Res by Taimuraz Goginov, the trade representative of South Ossetia in Russia,, the Republic's stand is enjoying great success, having attracted many visitors.
However, according to him, among them, of particular importance was the visit of representatives of the VTB Bank, a landmark bank for South Ossetia – the VTB Senior Vice President Alexander Gogolev, accompanied by Investcapital CEO Maxim Melikhov.
"We told them in detail about the economic potential of the Republic, paying special attention to the canning plant project implemented by Investcapital with the support of VTB. The guests were interested in the finished products of the plant and the award received at the exhibition,” Goginov said.
In addition to the South Ossetian production, the guests of the exhibition were told about the tourism potential and other positive aspects of the Republic.
“The stand features the works of the outstanding Ossetian artist Mikhail Kulumbegov, capturing the beauty of the Republic’s landscapes. They made indelible impression on Alexander Grigorievich. He was pleasantly surprised by both our approach and the active promotion of the South Ossetia brand. On behalf of the entire Republic, we thank him for supporting the Republic’s projects and visiting the national exhibition,” the trade representative has added.
The 32nd international exhibition of food, beverages and raw materials for their production “Prodexpo” is being held in Moscow from February 3 to 7.
