Dzhioev and Galuzin discussed the entry into force of the law on dual citizenship

South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin exchanged views on current issues on the bilateral agenda, including issues of foreign policy coordination and expanding the Republic’s international relations, the Ministry’s press service reports.

The meeting took place at the Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday.

“The topic of upcoming joint work was raised within the framework of the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia, the next round of which is scheduled for early April,” the statement of the press service reads.

According to the Foreign Ministry, it was discussed the state of affairs regarding the entry into force of the Agreement between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation on the settlement of issues of dual citizenship.

The meeting took place in the atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding, the Ministry has noted.
