At various sections of the state border of South Ossetia, 31 violators of the legislation in the border sphere were detained in November, the press service of the KGB of the Republic reports.
Among those detained are 19 violators of the state border regime, 12 - of the border regime.
As a result of the investigation by the Border Service of the department, 12 people were subject to the administrative fine, one person was subject to administrative expulsion with a fine, another violator was expelled from the Republic without penalties, criminal cases were initiated against five people, 11 people were warned, and administrative proceedings against one person were terminated.
The department has reminded that departure to Georgia, as well as entry back to the Republic of South Ossetia, is carried out at the crossing points of the state border "Razdakhan" and "Pereu" with special passes from the 20th to the 30th of each month by residents of the Leningor and Dzau districts according to the established list of settlements. Crossing the state border with the expired passes is impossible, the KGB has emphasized.
When entering (leaving), staying in the border zone of the Republic of South Ossetia, it is mandatory to have identity documents (passport, service ID, birth certificate for minors, and for foreign citizens also a pass to the border zone).
