In the Bezhanov family village of Dzau district, it was given last tributes to Fyodor Bezhanov, a fighter from South Ossetia, perished while performing his military duty in the special military operation zone.
Representatives of the Republic's leadership, headed by President Alan Gagloev, colleagues, friends and relatives of the deceased attended the farewell ceremony.
According to the presidential press service, Alan Gagloev expressed deep condolences to the fighter's family and friends.
By decree of the head of state, Fyodor Bezhanov was posthumously awarded the Medal "Defender of the Fatherland".
Fyodor Bezhanov was 42 years old. Four children were left without a father.
