Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev, on behalf of President of the Republic Alan Gagloev, presented the Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Alexey Shaposhnikov with the Order of Friendship.
Alexey Shaposhnikov was awarded for his contribution to the development of cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and Russia, the press service of the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation reports.
The award ceremony took place in the Moscow Parliamentary Center, where joint cultural events are regularly held as part of cooperation between our countries.
Alexey Shaposhnikov thanked Alan Gagloev for the high award and expressed his wishes for the well-being and prosperity of the people of the Republic.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the head of the Moscow City Duma for his consistently kind attention to the Republic, having noted that the established dynamic interaction between Tskhinval and Moscow will continue to strengthen for the benefit of both peoples.
