By the decree of the head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik, President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov was awarded the state award of the Republic - the jubilee medal "90 years of the Airborne Forces", the press service of the head of state reports.

The award was given to Anatoly Bibilov for special services in strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation with the Lugansk People's Republic, mutual assistance and support, as well as on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the creation of the Airborne Forces.

The Day of the Airborne Forces in South Ossetia was celebrated with a solemn formation and laying of flowers at the Eternal Flame. According to the established tradition, paratroopers of the Republic who served in the Airborne Forces in different years, cadets of the Ryazan Airborne School, gathered on the Walk of Fame in Tskhinval.

The leadership of the Republic headed by President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, who, as known, served in the Airborne Forces, came to congratulate the paratroopers on the 90th anniversary of the formation of the "winged infantry".
