A meeting between South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev and the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov took place in Simferopol. During the meeting, they discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation between South Ossetia and the Republic of Crimea.
Sergey Aksyonov greeted Alan Gagloev and noted that "our peoples are united today not only by a common history and long-standing friendship."
"Alan Eduardovich, I am glad to welcome you to Crimea. Today, we are united not only by a common history, long-standing friendship and cooperation in various fields. Our soldiers on the front lines are fighting shoulder to shoulder for a just cause, jointly fulfilling all the tasks set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin as part of a special military operation," Aksyonov said.
He has expressed confidence that the interaction between the Republic of Crimea and South Ossetia will be developing.
"Together we will overcome all the difficulties and come to our common victory," the head of the Republic of Crimea has noted.
In turn, Alan Gagloev expressed the words of gratitude to Sergei Aksenov.
"We have come here to support the guys who are participating in the special military operation and, of course, we could not pass by. People of South Ossetia always note and know that we have close friends. Today we are faced with common tasks, common threats, and the rapid processes that are happening in the world impose even greater responsibility so that we are always close, move together and come to another victory," Alan Gagloev said
