Three people with coronavirus have been hospitalized in a day in the medical center of South Ossetia

As of the morning of January 10, 60 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in the "red zones" of the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center of South Ossetia, Eleonora Dzhioeva, the chief infectious disease specialist of the Republic, told IA "RES”.

“Currently, 25 patients are being treated in the infectious diseases building of the hospital, 35 in the building of the children's hospital. Three of them are in the intensive care unit,” the doctor said.

Tourism development prospects: Russian guests visited South Ossetia

The bright holiday of Christmas is being celebrated in South Ossetia

The Nativity of Christ is one of the twelve major holidays of Orthodoxy and the most revered among all believers.

Festive services in the churches of South Ossetia were held on the night of January 6-7, where a large number of believers traditionally gathered. Many came with the children to pray for their relatives and friends. Head of state Anatoly Bibilov attended the night festive service in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity of the Russian Orthodox Church along with parishioners. The divine service was conducted by Father Sergiy (Kokoev).

56 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in South Ossetia since January 1
