President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev presented state awards to representatives of various spheres of the Republic's life.

The award ceremony took place on Friday at the Presidential Executive Office of South Ossetia.

The head of state congratulated those present on the holiday and wished them success, kindness and a peaceful sky over their heads.

“Most residents of South Ossetia are citizens of the Russian Federation. And I cannot but congratulate you on today's significant holiday - National Unity Day.

A solemn reception was held in Tskhinval, dedicated to the Day of National Unity, which is celebrated in the Russian Federation on November 4. The festive evening was attended by the leadership of the Republic headed by President Alan Gagloev, Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, Russian compatriots and guests of the Republic.

The reception was organized by the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of South Ossetia.
