President Alan Gagloev addressed the children of South Ossetia and their parents on the International Children's Day.

The head of state stressed that "today's holiday is a reminder to all adults of the responsibility for the future of our children, our state," the presidential press service reports.

“We are proud of our smart, talented, promising guys. Many of them, despite their rather young age, successfully perform at local and international levels, in sports, scientific, creative and other fields.

The Embassy of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to the victims of the Beslan tragedy on the square in front of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Kulishki (Alan farmstead), the press service of the diplomatic department reports.

"The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Permanent Mission of North Ossetia-Alania under the President of Russia, representatives of the Ossetian public, the Moscow Ossetian community, as well as the public of Moscow," the press service said.
