A delegation of the South Ossetian Parliament headed by Speaker Alan Margiev will take part in the XI conference of the North Caucasian Parliamentary Association.
The event will be held on November 19 and 20 in the city of Grozny, Chechen Republic, the press service of the legislative body reports.
It is necessary to recognize the genocide of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War and fight against the resurgent fascism. This was stated by Deputy Speaker of Parliament of South Ossetia, Associate Professor of the Department of the Ossetian History and Caucasian Studies at the South Ossetian State University Taimuraz Tadtaev during the international conference on the topic "Historical Memory of the Genocide of the Peoples of the USSR by the Third Reich during the Great Patriotic War".
In October, 23 violators of the established legal regimes were detained at various sections of the state border of South Ossetia. Of these, 11 were violators of the state border regime and 12 were violators of the border regime. This was reported by the press service of the State Security Committee of the Republic.
The department has reported that the KGB Border Service conducted investigations into each fact of violation of legal regimes.
“As a result, 17 people were subject to administrative fines, and six were given warnings,” the press service has noted.
