South Ossetia has handed over to Georgia two of its citizens who served their sentences for violating the state border

The authorities of South Ossetia have handed over to Georgia two of its citizens who served their sentences for illegally crossing the state border, the press service of the Republic's KGB reported.

A resident of the village of Dirbi in the Kareli municipality, a 31-year-old Akhvlediani Khadzharat, and a 28-year-old resident of the city of Gori, Romelashvili Giorgi, were detained on February 24 and May 25 of this year for illegally crossing the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia.

The South Ossetian team will take part in the international power lifting tournament

Power lifters from South Ossetia will perform at the open international tournament "WPSO/WPC/WAO World Cup" in the Russian capital, - Levan Alborov, President of the Republic's Federation of Power lifting and Power Extreme, told IA "Res".

The major sporting event will be held in Moscow from November 30 to December 1. More than 600 athletes are expected to participate in the competition.

South Ossetia at the International Forum "SHUM": the participant is sharing experience and impressions

South Ossetia took part in the all-Russian youth educational Forum "SHUM" in the Kaliningrad region.

As reported to IA "Res" by the participant from the Republic Dzerassa Kodalaeva, the event brought together about 300 young journalists from 86 countries.

"I learned about the "SHUM" completely by accident. The topic of the Forum seemed especially relevant to me, since the world of media is changing rapidly, and it is important to be aware of the latest trends and technologies. Therefore, I decided to take part and sent an application," Kodalaeva has shared.
