Ossetian athlete Aldat Kesaev has risen to the highest step of the podium at the European Freestyle Wrestling Championship U-17, which is taking place in Novi Sad (Serbia). This is reported by the press service of Ministry of Sports of North Ossetia.

In the final of the weight class up to 80 kg, the Ossetian wrestler defeated Nikoloz Maisuradze from Georgia with a score of 7:4.

Aldat Kesaev is representing the Soslan Andiev freestyle wrestling school and the Taymazov Brothers Club. The athlete is trained by Marik Byazrov and Yuri Slanov.

The State Song and Dance Group "Simd" performed a solo program on the stage of the Russian Theater in Makhachkala as part of its participation in the international festival "Highlanders". This was reported by the press service of Ministry of Culture of South Ossetia.
