State Advisor to President of South Ossetia Vyacheslav Gobozov, during the Moscow-Tskhinval video bridge, has emphasized that the will of the South Ossetian people has no statute of limitations.

According to him, the referendum held on January 19, 1992 in South Ossetia on giving the Republic the status of the independent state and reunification with Russia occupies a special place in the history of the Ossetian people.

The troupe of the branch of the Mariinsky Theater in North Ossetia-Alania, arrived in South Ossetia, laid flowers at the grave of the famous Ossetian composer Zhanna Plieva.

The artists will present the national ballet “Fatima” on the stage of the State Drama Theater on Monday.

A relative of the composer, Madina Bagaeva, has noted that Zhanna left a bright mark after her death.

The Kosta Khetagurov South Ossetian State Drama Theater plans to present the play “Boris Godunov” at the theater festival, which will be held in September this year in Nizhny Novgorod.

The premiere of the performance based on the play by A.S. Pushkin's "Boris Godunov" took place on the stage of the State Drama Theater on January 17. The production was directed by the theater's artistic director Tamerlan Dzudtsov. Popular clothing designer Khokh Bekoev worked on the creation of the costumes. A divine service was held in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Tskhinval on Friday night in honor of one of the main Christian holidays - the divine Epiphany.

Young people from South Ossetia, consisting of about 150 people, will take part in the World Youth Festival in Sochi. Diana Dzhussoeva, chief specialist in organization, planning and implementation of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports, reported this to the “Res ” news agency.

According to her, more than 360 people from 18 to 35 years old are registered on the official website of the festival from South Ossetia. Later, a delegation will be formed from among those registered to participate in the forum.
