The paintings of the Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and South Ossetia Vadim Pukhaev were used to decorate the exhibition "Heritage of the Alans" in Portugal.
The unique exhibition opened in the city of Cascais in the Museum of the Presidential Palace, Vadim Pukhaev told IA "Res".
"The exhibition is dedicated to the rich heritage of the peoples of the Caucasus and Transcaucasia and has included rare artifacts - weapons, traditional costumes, household items and works of applied art, presented by the peoples of Ossetia, Dagestan, Chechnya and other republics," the artist said.

These paintings were previously presented in the North Caucasian branch of the State Museum of Oriental Arts at the exhibition "Ossetian Color", which included more than 60 works of art.
Vadim Pukhaev has expressed gratitude to the organizer of the exhibition, collector, philanthropist Vladislav Khabliev, noting that the goal of the event is to promote the popularization of the cultural heritage of the peoples of the Caucasus.
"Our historians considered that my works were most suitable for the design of this cultural event. I am very happy with this opportunity and grateful to the organizers for the invitation. I hope the project will expand, for my part, I am ready to continue to make a feasible contribution to its implementation," Pukhaev has noted.
