The residents of village Pris frightened with the unauthorized by the sides and the Commander of the JPKF transfer of the check point of the Ministry of Interior of Georgia, met with the Ministry of Interior of the RSO, Mikhail Mindzaev. The Minister assured them that the law-enforcement bodies of the RSO will do everything possible to avoid further escalation in the conflict zone and protect the residents of the village.
After that the group of the residents went to the OSCE office in Tskhinval where was carried out a spontaneous meeting, requesting OSCE Mission to interfere into the situation.
The Office in Charge of the OSCE Mission Rain Grist was not available. Besides that, as it has already happened, during escalations in the conflict zone none of the OSCE representatives is present in South Ossetia. According to the staff member of the OSCE, the Officer in Charge will be available in South Ossetia only in tow hours. At the present time the meeting in front of the office is going on.
