The action groups in support of presidential aspirants of South Ossetia - MP of the IVth convocation Sergei Zasseev and a businessman Oleg Kozaev -submitted subscription lists with the required 500 signatures to the Central Election Committee.
As IA "Res" was informed at the CEC of South Ossetia, the subscription lists would be examined by handwriting experts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. "In addition, Zasseev and Kozaev are due to pass an exam in knowing the official languages; the date of the exam will be determined in the near future." CEC will publish the final list of candidates for president of South Ossetia on February 29. Presidential re-elections are scheduled for March 25, 2012.
